The range of biodynamic vegetable and fruit purées from Biobim is being refreshed and expanded with several new flavors. A varied assortment has been deliberately chosen, tailored to different developmental stages, allowing babies to discover new tastes step by step. The range carries the Demeter certification and will now consist of 3 fruit purées and 7 vegetable purées. The ingredients are sourced as locally as possible; only a few raw materials, such as bananas, come from outside Europe. In addition, the jars will receive a new look: they will be the last to transition to the familiar design featuring the well-known “Ekonijntje,” illustrated by Marije Tolman.

The Demeter label represents biodynamic farming and goes beyond the requirements of organic production. The focus is on enhancing natural balance, with strong attention to soil quality and biodiversity.
Strict guidelines also apply to processing. Ingredients are handled as minimally as possible so that their natural properties are preserved and the products remain as pure as possible. Within baby food, the availability of this certification is still limited. Biobim is even the only provider in the Netherlands offering vegetable and fruit jars with the Demeter label. This makes the range not only distinctive but also makes biodynamic baby food more accessible for parents who want to give their child a mindful start.
