Research shows that goat\u2019s milk is easier to digest, partly because the fat globules in goat\u2019s milk are smaller than those in cow\u2019s milk. Although there is no scientific evidence for other benefits, some parents notice that their child responds more comfortably to this type of formula. They report, for example, that their baby drinks more calmly, has fewer cramps, or seems to tolerate the formula better. These are personal experiences that can vary from child to child, but for some parents they are a reason to consider goat\u2019s milk as a base.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Goat\u2019s milk is widely consumed around the world, even more than cow\u2019s milk in certain regions. Some parents grew up with goat\u2019s milk formula themselves and appreciate continuing that tradition after the breastfeeding period. At Biobim, we believe it is important to offer options that align with the different preferences and experiences of families.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Infant formula based on goat\u2019s milk is legally permitted within the European Union and, like all other bottle-feeding formulas, must meet strict requirements for composition and safety. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has recognized goat\u2019s milk protein as a suitable protein source for infant formula. In the Netherlands, the NVWA monitors compliance with these regulations. Parents can therefore trust that this type of formula is safe and meets European standards.   <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cow\u2019s milk protein allergy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When your child has a cow\u2019s milk protein allergy, it is important to know that goat\u2019s milk is usually not a suitable alternative. Although the protein composition differs from that of cow\u2019s milk, the proteins in goat\u2019s milk can still trigger a reaction. Always consult a doctor or child health clinic if you have doubts or if allergy symptoms occur.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For many parents, choosing a particular type of formula is a matter of intuition, experience, and what seems to suit their child best.
