Nutrition by age
Your baby’s first year is all about discovering new flavors and textures. On this page, you’ll find a clear overview of information that may be important to you. Our product range is organized by age category, making it easy to see which items are suitable for your little one.

Nutrition from birth
Shortly after birth, babies begin to respond differently to tastes: sweet flavors typically elicit a positive reaction, while sour and bitter ones are often met with rejection. Taste development actually begins in the womb, where the fetus samples flavors from the amniotic fluid, an experience that later helps in recognizing the scent and taste of breast milk. Breast milk is not only nourishing and protective, but it also carries the flavors of the mother’s diet, which stimulates the baby’s taste development.
Nutrition from 4 months
From four to six months, your baby can gradually start with small tasting portions alongside breast or bottle feeding, mainly to get used to new flavors and eating from a spoon. Begin with simple, mild tastes like apple or pumpkin, and offer them repeatedly to help your baby slowly adjust to solid foods.
Nutrition from 6 months
From six months onward, your baby needs solid food alongside breast or bottle feeding and begins to learn new flavors, eating habits, and ways of eating step by step. Shared mealtimes become increasingly important, and you can now offer your baby small, soft bites from the family meal.
Nutrition from 12 months
During the first year, your baby continues to develop rapidly and explores not only different flavors but also new textures in food. Because your child needs a lot of nutrients but has a small stomach, it’s important to offer healthy main meals and snacks, ideally enjoyed together with the family.
